Coming on November 2, 2011
After 30 years presenting the Governor's Awards in Support of the Arts, the Wisconsin Foundation for the Arts is pausing to celebrate the arts in Wisconsin as noted by the five governors who have participated in the ceremony.
Next November 2, Madison's Overture Center for the Arts will be where the governors, 30 years of award recipients and commissioned artists come together to remember the highlights of ceremonies past and recognize again the extraordinary arts supporters we have among us. More information will come closer to the date, so check back as the 2011 celebration plans are rolled-out! Meanwhile, circle November 2 on the calendar and plan to join Wisconsin Foundation for the Arts to celebrate the importance of the arts.
